TAKII
TAKII stands for The Asian Karaoki Idol Invitational, but we're not to sure why. Though often described as a con, it is not. It's a day long, fantastical event run by TLO vice pres, D-Chan. It's got gaming, singing, and chaos. TAKII gives you the fun and excitement of an anime convention without the feelings of being bogged down with too much to do. No need to wait in lines or choose one event over the next, as everything is laid out in such a way that we give you enough to do, and nothing more. It's run primarily by TLO members, so expect the typical attitude and atmosphere. It also features the TLO born, highly popular event: TLO Otaku Jeapordy.
ZenKaiKon
Formerly known as Zentrancon, ZenKaiKon is a one day anime convention that runs in October in the greater Philly area. Just what you expect from a starter 1 day con, all the fun and frivolity, none of the corporate bullshit! Also staffed by members of the TLO as well as DAS, you know what to expect when that happens.
